Her Roots
Despite her desire to flee her circumstances, the star’s roots may even originate from the Middle East. We have no exact confirmation, but with a last name of Diab and her father’s job being in the Middle East, we’re pretty certain that she’s of Middle Eastern descent.
Songwriter
She’s also no stranger to stardom and was exposed to the music business early on… prior to her work in the radio. Diab began writing songs as a teen in order to escape the harsh realities of her turbulent world.
In addition to writing songs, she also dabbled in remixing them! She gained her first bit of notoriety when she remixed a song called “Rydaz” with the Destiny’s Child classic “Soldier” that eventually landed on the radio airwaves.
Friends In High Places
The budding songstress got her start in radio by using the connections of a friend who worked for Clear Channel Radio.
Nessa had her friend Evelyn, who was interning at the time, turn in a resume for her and eventually ended up landing an internship at the radio station herself as part of the station’s promo team called “THE PARTY CREW.”
