Since they began their path with MTV, the Teen Mom stars have been no strangers to professional rehabilitation centers. Whether it’s for drug addiction, depression, or severe suicidal thoughts, many of the cast members have found themselves needing to seek professional treatment for their struggles. In many cases, fans cheer them on as they strive to better themselves. Could Tyler Baltierra be the next to take a leave of absence and go to a treatment center?
After Tyler had a breakdown on Twitter, many fans have been concerned about the state of his mental health. Now, he’s speaking out about his choice regarding a long-term stay in a rehab facility.

Catelynn Lowell shocked many of her fans when she announced that she was going to a treatment center for her suicidal thoughts. As the season of Teen Mom OG went on, the trigger for her difficulties was revealed: she and her husband Tyler Baltierra had suffered a painful miscarriage.
Since her release, Catelynn seems to be much healthier and happier. But fans have been left worrying about how Tyler is coping with the miscarriage himself. His recent breakdown on social media got even more fans alarmed.
“Laying in bed next to my peacefully sleeping wife,” Tyler tweeted. “I can hear my daughter snoozing away through the monitor in her room. My dog is cuddled up on the floor next to me…& yet I feel so empty…so alone,” he wrote, adding, “#TheCruelIronyOfLife.” In fact, many fans even believe he could be hinting at a divorce from his wife!

Soon, fans began to wonder if Tyler was going to seek professional rehab as well. It wasn’t long before one of his friends dished to Radar Online concerning the huge decision Tyler had in front of him.
“He isn’t opposed to it,” his friend said. “I definitely think it would be beneficial. He does have a lot of unresolved issues from his past. Stuff he’s had to deal with — Catelynn, stuff at home, his father — that he’s had to put on the back burner. I could definitely see that in a good way. I think it would really help him.”
Now, Tyler himself is speaking out about the choice.

“I am not going to rehab,” Tyler shared on Twitter. “I had a therapy appointment yesterday, I do Alpha Stim sessions & looking into EMDR therapy as well.”
However, Tyler may go away for a short, healing stint. “Also, looking into a 7 day holistic spiritual retreat to reconnect with myself,” he added. “Everyone has been really sweet about this & I appreciate it.”
