Amid all the drama, fans are left wondering whether MTV will take action and terminate Bar and Ashley following the alleged domestic violence. “Just wondering what everybody thinks MTV will do. I’m doubting MTV cares about these people at all, but maybe they’ll pull the plug on Young+Pregnant due to theirs and other cast members actions in the past few weeks,” wrote reddit user PygmyFists.
“They didn’t pull the plug on Amber when she was beating up Gary. Or when there were clearly signs of abuse with Jenelle and her various boyfriends/husbands. So my guess would be no,” wrote user akwilliams. User idfwypeace agreed, “My thoughts exactly. They filmed the abuse and aired it for the world to see. MTV doesn’t give a sh*t about these girls. It’s a numbers game for them.”
“I don’t think they will,” wrote tmaddict, adding, “I kind of think they should. Petty arguments are fun to watch but not real abuse.” User chrissycakes8726 agreed, “They definitely should pull the plug before these people make more money and they end up getting worse. That seems to be the way it works with these people. The more money they make the worse they get. But I’m sure MTV won’t do the right thing, they never do.”
