Even though the Teen Mom cast members have been on the show for a decade, fans have learned the hard way that none of them is totally safe when it comes to getting fired.
After several years of being on air, Farrah Abraham was the first cast member to prove that none of the Teen Mom cast members had permanent tenures on the show.
Not long after, Jenelle Evans’ time on the show also ended, and it appears that Amber Portwood might be next.
We’ve seen many of the cast members get fired… but this girl is in a whole new set of drama.

When Farrah Abraham and MTV parted ways, it was a little confusing what exactly went down. Even though Farrah insisted that she was fired from the show, when footage of the actual altercation between her and executive producer Morgan J Freeman aired, the story got a little murkier.
After a lot of yelling, it seemed that Farrah essentially proclaimed she would no longer be working with MTV, and that it was her decision to leave.
Of course, that didn’t stop her complaining about MTV’s decision to fire her for weeks and weeks after.
But Farrah isn’t the only cast member to get fired from the show.
After tweeting homophobic remarks, Jenelle Evans now ex-husband, David Eason, was also fired.
Soon after, Jenelle’s time on the show ended as well, although the real reason for this is unclear. It seems that Jenelle wasn’t actually fired, but that she and MTV couldn’t reach an agreement about her contract continuing forward. Now, it looks like we’re in a similar situation with Amber Portwood.
Although some resilient fans defend her, it’s no wonder that most Teen Mom viewers are totally done with Amber Portwood after footage of her being violent towards her baby daddy Andrew Glennon while he was holding their son.
Since then, many have theorized that the lengthy duration between the finale of Teen Mom 2 and the premiere of next season of Teen Mom OG is due to the fact that MTV is deciding whether to fire Amber!
In the meantime, MTV has had to figure out what to do with all of the gaps in its casts. It filled one by hiring Cheyenne Floyd, and another by hiring Mackenzie McKee. As for Teen Mom 2, that role was filled by Jade Cline.
Ironically, it looks like Jade was just fired!
The news comes from an insider at the salon where Jade works and constantly films for Teen Mom 2. Texts about the incident were leaked by the Instagram account Teen Mom Shade Room.
“Jades client is here waiting but no jade. Her appointment was at 1pm,” the texts read.
Another reads, “She didn’t show up today and client pre paid $235. Client was p*ssed.”
One text claims Jade insisted on vaping around a child. “You CAN NOT VAPE in a room … her client was 15 … and Jade asked ‘care if I hit this while your mom is gone ‘ ???? She was very UNPROFESSIONAL the entire time she was there.”
Another attests:
“She was late constantly -- had the most inappropriate rap music playing so loudly coming out of her suite spilling over into the hallway… which is a BIG no no. Everyone who works there has FULL clienteles and these people are spending hundreds of dollars on their hair..skin.. Nails … everyone there is very professional and courteous…. She was NOT Her baby daddy came banging ON THE doors one night because they were in a fight ..and I hate To tell these people defending her …. She’s not a ‘star’ - she’s on a reality show about getting knocked up and then mtv films the TRAIN-WRECK that is these girls lives.”
Finally, one message claims that Jade was asked to leave the salon suite that she rents!
“Jade was asked to leave Sola …. (the place she CLAIMED) was ‘her salon’ … she was asked to leave the week before she went on her Las Vegas vacation she had until the end of this week to move out… She showed up at sola with her baby daddy and several friends… They all sat in the parking lot while she moved her stuff out of her room at sola and did not help her… She was asked to leave because she has caused so many of the stylists at sola to be irritated by her and her ‘guests’ …. Mainly all of which came to see her because she’s on teen mom…”
Fans sounded off about this tea on reddit.
“Pure speculation on my part but I bet jade brings a ton of drama to work with her. I can see Sean and Christy showing up begging for money or trying to drop off Kloie. She isn’t the type to leave personal matters at home,” wrote user jackiehennedy. User bmorenursey wrote, “I think she did too much too fast. Should have worked at Hair Cuttery for a few years to gain some professional maturity before doing this.”

Andrew Glennon to Face Amber Portwood in Court
They're headed back to court! Andrew Glennon will appear to address his alleged custody agreement violation. These past few months have been a lot for Amber Portwood and her baby daddy, and the drama just keeps on coming.
Amber had pled guilty to previous domestic violence charges, but she's not going to give up her son without a fight.
Amber Portwood is ready to fight for her son, and is taking Andrew Glennon to court.
After a convoluted report of fighting and battery, video of the notorious moment when Amber pulled a machete on her baby daddy was leaked.
The video quickly went viral in the Teen Mom world, and fans were shocked to see the ruthless battle between Amber and Andrew Glennon, all of which took place while their son James was present.
Then, Amber claimed that Andrew is the one who has actually been harming her son. Legal documents obtained by TMZ and filed by Amber claim that she and Andrew had a custody agreement that allowed her time with James during Christmas, but Andrew didn’t allow this to happen.
According to Amber, Andrew left the state during the holidays without telling her.
This isn’t the only claim Amber makes in the documents. She also claimed that on Christmas day, Andrew revealed that James was going to the ER after being “nipped” by a family dog!
Andrew didn’t send news of this event until three days after it happened, the documents reveal. She claims the photo showed that James had gotten a black eye and injuries to his nose from the dog attack, “indicating that the injury was more than a ‘nip.’”
Amber also claims that he violated their agreement by posting a picture of James on Instagram after they decided they would not do so.
According to the documents, Amber wants Andrew held in contempt of court for violating their custody arrangement, and she also wants more time with James. On top of that, she wants to be reimbursed by Andrew for all of her legal expenses.
And now we know, Andrew is definitely heading to court.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, an Indiana judge ruled Amber’s allegations valid.
The outlet obtained court documents that explain that Andrew must present why he shouldn’t “be found in contempt of this Court’s order for failing to comply with the Mediated Agreement entered on October 23, 2019.”
Andrew must also show why he felt the need to keep James from Amber on Christmas, why he did not provide adequate information about their son’s dog bite, and why he posted the photo of James on social media.
His court date is set for February 11.
