But fans weren’t really buying this. “See, if I had cameras following me 24/7, I’m sure they would catch me at my worst a few times, although I’d like to believe I’d be on my best behavior KNOWING I’m being filmed,” wrote user etakyram on reddit.
They went on: “Still, I might get caught snapping at one of the kids or crying or overreacting over something stupid, maybe sh*t talking an ex or baby daddy, whatever. They probably could edit the scenes down to where they highlight those moments so I get how that could be frustrating. As it would be for any parent, especially a young parent. However… you can’t just ‘portray’ someone not giving a f*ck about anything 24/7, mumbling and grunting as the only form of communication, or being high as F*CK on heroin behind the wheel while on the way to your wedding.”
Supporting someone as they fight an addiction can put a strain on even the strongest of relationships, so it’s no wonder that fans have started to question whether Mackenzie and Ryan will last. Especially given the fact that they were both just fired from Teen Mom OG!
According to Mack, Maci told MTV “She’s not going to film unless [Ryan enters] rehab again and quit the show.”
Mackenzie and Ryan shared more details about their departure from MTV with E! News.
“[MTV wants] to take Maci’s word on how I’m doing,” Ryan said. “Maci’s said she’s not going to film unless I enter rehab again and quit the show. But I’m sober.”
