And it's not who you'd expect
Devoin’s Past
Roxanne filed for a protective order that included guarding Briana and Nova against Devion in the Orange County Circuit Court on April 17, 2012, saying, “He is very intimidating and after researching him, I see his background of guns, fighting, postings on Facebook, drugs, weapons and violence. I am in fear for my safety and my family’s.”
Roxanne claimed that Devoin came to the family’s home and started arguing with Briana. When Roxanne told him to leave, he got angry. “He stood up by the door way and didn’t want to move. He started to curse at me and made a motion to hit me. I finally got him out. He kicked my door so hard.”
Scared for Her Life
Roxanne’s order was dismissed, so she filed for another protective order immediately after that. But the courts dismissed it again claiming they just didn’t have enough evidence. Had the police been called out and a report filed, she may have been able to get the protective orders.
