Ashley quickly shot back on Twitter. “Yeah you did see that video of me slapping myself, but I didn’t lie about anything. He does get physical with me often,” Ashley wrote. “But I love him and I stay because I really want things to work ok . Jesus . I would NEVER lie about something like that.” She explained that slapping herself is “something I do every time the pressure gets [too] real and I’m on the verge of loosing [sic] my s**t.”
