Chelsea looks like a whole new woman these days… but her methods aren’t always praised!
Chelsea has paired with a weight loss supplement company called Profile, and has promoted them numerous times throughout the years. Fans aren’t so thrilled about this!
“Shady,” wrote reddit user charcuterie_bored. “Seems like a typical d-list celeb money grab. I highly doubt she actually used this specific program to lose weight.” User beautiousmaximus wrote, “Idk going on a diet while pregnant is weird in every way.”
Many fans clearly believe Chelsea didn’t use this program to lose weight at all. “Why in the frack is Chelsea shilling a medical weight-loss program when she is pregnant? Like, we get it. You lost a ton of weight after Watson. Big whoop. But now claims it was this program (told her ‘fannzzzz’ it was keto) and is now pregnant shilling this?” wrote user makeupaddikt08.
Fans even worried that the products could be unhealthy during pregnancy, and that Chelsea could be inspiring others to try them despite this fact. “It p*sses me off that they shill this sh*t while pregnant. There’s no long term studies on this, so I wouldn’t risk taking it while pregnant but if people ask them they’ll say ‘oh yes it’s safe!’ Knowing d*mn well they aren’t really using it. Anything for an easy dollar.”
It’s true that when Chelsea is asked about weight loss, she doesn’t even mention Profile!
“How did @ChelseaHouska lose her baby weight? Need tips!” wrote one of Chelsea’s fans on Twitter last year. Chelsea shot back quickly, “Low carb ?.”
“She also does Crossfit, working out and lifting,” another fan chimed in to say. But busy mom Chelsea pointed out, “I wish I still did CrossFit 🙁 I haven’t been to a gym since I was pregnant haha.”
Apparently, for Chelsea, it’s all about what she puts in her mouth. Shockingly, she’s revealed that she hasn’t just lost her baby weight… she’s gotten down to an even lower weight than she started at!
“I’m on a strict/low carb diet,” she told fans. “It was not easy! But I’m 10lbs less than I was before I got pregnant, so it’s been worth it.”
She went on, “I do easy/quick meal prep. Lots of chicken breast and broccoli microwave steamers!”
Chelsea isn’t the only one who’s gotten slammed for her weight loss methods. Leah Messer also caught some flack about it recently!
The topic came up on Kailyn Lowry‘s podcast, Coffee Convos, where Kail discussed the hardship of losing her dog, Bear. After the girls discussed their love for animals, Leah revealed that she’s now vegetarian!
After Kailyn and her co-host Lindsie Chrisley express their apprehension for going vegetarian, Leah schools them.
“Do you know that your body naturally produces protein?” Leah says.
“We don’t know anything!” Kailyn says.
“Well, I’m learning, too,” Leah reveals. “I’ve only been vegetarian since the beginning of October, but I have no desire whatsoever to eat meat. My mind f*cks with me, so sometimes I’m like, ‘Ooh, I really want chicken wings,’ but then I’m like, ‘How the f*ck did I say that in my mind?’”
She explains, “After my dog died, I [realized] he had feelings and… I don’t want to eat any of that.”
