Though there are shake-ups in the OG cast, Teen Mom 2 is on track for its next season. However, contract negotiations have been particularly controversial this time. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Briana was persuaded with a “big pay increase” even after she had threatened to quit the show. Evidently though, Jenelle is holding out and refusing to sign unless they allow David Eason to be around filming. David was fired after a series of homophobic tweets.
A source clarified, “[Jenelle] doesn’t care if he isn’t shown on-camera or paid. She told [the producer] that if she is filming at their home, she is not going to make David leave.”
Allegedly, even Leah had her own demands. A source claimed Leah wanted “MTV to pay for a professional makeup artist to do her makeup before she filmed,” but was turned down.
