Boy or girl?!
Once again, the Teen Mom family is about to get a little bigger. Now that the cast members are getting older and settling down, it’s no surprise that pregnancy announcements seem to be so common. Still, no one expected this particular couple to be announcing their pregnancy so soon.
Maci Bookout’s ex Ryan Edwards and his new wife Mackenzie Standifer have worked through a lot in this season of Teen Mom OG alone. Ryan has only been out of rehab for his drug addiction for less than a year, and the two have been facing off with Maci Bookout in attempts to get more custody of her son Bentley. Now it looks like they’ll have even more on their plates as they welcome their first child together.

Amber Portwood was recently joined in pregnancy by her Teen Mom 2 co-star Chelsea Houska. Now, there’s someone else joining the club: Ryan Edwards’ new wife, Mackenzie Standifer.
The newlyweds only celebrated their wedding ceremonies a few episodes ago on Teen Mom OG, but apparently they didn’t want to wait very long to start their family.

During the sneak peek of next week’s episode, MTV let fans in on mere seconds of a previous secret: Mackenzie proudly shows a positive pregnancy test to one of the producers. Even though some fans thought this may have been a “fake out” scene and that Mackenzie was showing a negative test or potentially someone else’s test altogether, an inside source has confirmed that the Edwardses are indeed expecting.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Ryan and Mackenzie could not hold their secret in if they tried. It turns out that they were sharing their news backstage while the Teen Mom OG reunion was filming in New York.

“That’s when most of the cast and even some of the crew found out Mackenzie was pregnant,” the source revealed. “Mackenzie and Ryan don’t know the sex of the baby yet, but are finding out on April 20.”
In fact, according to the source, Mackenzie is due around the same time that Chelsea Houska is!
“Ryan is actually really excited about this baby,” the source revealed. “They were trying to keep it quiet in the beginning, though, because they knew that [viewers] would have a lot of negative things to say.”
Well, they’re not exactly wrong!
