Losing a loved one is always an incredibly difficult experience, and it’s hard to imagine that going through it on camera makes the ordeal any less challenging. Even so, the cast members of Teen Mom have gone through hardships like this time and again on camera, sharing their experiences with their fans.
Now, Kailyn Lowry is experiencing just such a difficulty, and she’s putting her experience out there.

Kailyn Lowry hasn’t exactly had the easiest run on Teen Mom. From a young age, she was on her own, having never really known her father growing up. In the early seasons of Teen Mom, Kailyn realized that her mother couldn’t support her and battle her alcoholism at the same time, and that fact became concrete when her mother kicked Kailyn out of her home because her boyfriend didn’t like Kailyn!
Since then, Kailyn has been on her own. Even though she’s had some good times, it’s impossible to deny that she has faced a lot of adversity during her time on Teen Mom.

Kailyn recently announced that she was adopting a new family member.
She shared with fans that she had adopted a new dog named Karma into her household! And even though it’s an exciting time in her life, it comes on the heels of a tragedy.

Kailyn opened up about the loss in her family in this clip for Teen Mom 2.
“I’m so sorry about Bear,” a producer says in the clip, referring to Kailyn’s previous dog, Bear, who recently passed.
“He’s been a burden on me for like a year because of this, and I’ve been blaming him, and so I feel guilty,” Kailyn says. “I’m always frustrated.”
