Kailyn Lowry has officially taken things to a new level. Although most of her co-stars’ drama comes from their baby daddies and relationships, it looks like she’s the first Teen Mom to involve herself in a murder case.

After this shocking update, it’s no surprise that fans aren’t reacting well.

Lately, Kailyn Lowry‘s podcast, Coffee Convos has really been taking off. The show, which she co-hosts with Lindsie Chrisley, normally focuses on relationships and drama in the girls’ lives. But on the latest episode, Kailyn took a turn in a direction not many fans were happy with.

Kailyn shared the new direction via Instagram.

“Did Scott kill Laci?” Kailyn shared on her Instagram story. “Why or why not?”

She added that she’d be covering the topic on her podcast.

For those that don’t know, Scott Peterson is a man who was convicted for the first-degree murder of his 27-year-old wife and daughterback in 2004. The case was very public, and recently got more infamy when the Supreme Court overturned his death sentence due to the jury selection.

Although the True Crime genre has gotten more popular in the past few years, many still find it distasteful to casually speak about a woman who was murdered, especially when members of her family are still grieving.

And, of course, Teen Mom fans were quick to voice these opinions.
