Fans are NOT happy!
The world of Teen Mom is so fast paced that it’s hard to believe that Kailyn Lowry’s third son, Baby Lo, is already over a month old. It’s easy to get so caught up in the drama of Kailyn’s baby daddies and pregnancy that you forget that she hasn’t even given her son a name yet.
Even though Kailyn certainly has a lot of other problems on her mind, fans are beginning to grow more than a little antsy about Baby Lo’s namelessness. Now, they’re upset for an entirely new reason.
A recent update Kailyn posted makes it seem like she’s letting others decide what Baby Lo’s name will be (and not only members of her family). Would Kailyn really let a nurse decide what Baby Lo’s name will be? Well, that’s what it looks like.

By the time a baby is a month and a half old, most mothers have picked a name. Although it’s not completely unheard of to wait a while before naming a child, it’s hard to put it off when you have thousands of fans anxiously waiting to hear what your son’s name will be.
It might be all of this impatience that’s lead to Kailyn putting off naming her baby even more. She’s posted about the options she had, and after being shot down time and again by fans, she may be at a complete loss for what to do.
Reddit user lilpinkz commented about a recent Kail update that has her fans’ heads swimming. “Did Kail really let a nurse pick the baby’s name?” they wrote. “I was watching her snap story earlier and that’s what it looks like. She put a bunch of names in a brown paper bag and let a nurse just draw one at random.”
They added, “All she flat out said was that it’s not Benji.”

Fans were divided about how this made them feel. Some criticized Kailyn. User bickingbackbeinbool wrote, “How hard is it to pick a babys name?” User Bee_Burden wrote, “She might as well [choose it this way] at this point.” User EvansHomeforBoys wrote, “Isaac and Lincoln were named by their parents. Kailyn acts like this is her seventh puppy and she just can’t think of a good name for it so she has someone else pick one. He’s her child for God’s sake. Name him like you did his brothers.”
Others, though, weren’t so upset. User Mjblack1989 wrote, “Of all the things that make Kail a bad person to me, I don’t put this one on the list. Is it odd? Maybe. Unconventional? A little. Intentionally Attention seeking provocation? Perhaps. But like others have already said, I don’t think it reflects on her as a person or parent, unlike many of the bad acts she’s already committed.” User trashbirds agreed, “I think she let the nurse pick out of a bag of her favorite names. I don’t get the big deal. My parents thought I was going to be a boy and just kept my name after I was born because they were lazy. I’m still functioning. If anything I kinda like the story. Maybe he will enjoy it one day.”
As for updates about the name itself, Kailyn has revealed how she will announce Baby Lo’s name. When Twitter user @rachelgreweling tagged her, saying, “[Kail] tells her whole baby naming story on snapchat but never told us what baby lo’s name is,” Kailyn revealed, “Getting it customized on a blanket and posting!”

It looks like fans will have to keep an eye out for any blanket posts Kailyn writes in the coming days, but does this mean that she’s finally picked out a name? Either way, fans were less than impressed with her announcement technique.
User ROFL_stiltskin wrote, “This is so… stupid. It would be one thing if she did it like a month ago but now it just seems extra.” User jmxo92 wrote, “Something about posting your plan for how you’re going to reveal the name makes it so extra cheesy.” Others were concerned about Baby Lo, with user crazygirlsbelike writing, “This may sound hella dramatic of me, but I actually kinda feel bad for that poor baby and the name saga. Imagine growing up and knowing you didn’t have a name for hella long & your mom went all over Snapchat advertising the naming process.”
