Did they screw up?
Everyone has their own unique parenting styles, including the Teen Mom cast. In fact, considering they’ve had one-of-a-kind motherhoods as reality stars, they may have more unique parenting styles for most. For some of the cast members, this isn’t always a good thing. It seems sometimes that every move they make, they’re met with fans who are less than thrilled by how they’re treating their children.
This time around, Kailyn and Leah are both in hot water. Fans seem to think they’re guilty of the one thing mothers should never do: ignoring their children. Did they really make the wrong move with this choice, or are fans overreacting to their decision?

Leah Messer and Kailyn Lowry have grown closer and closer over the years. After all, it’s hard to find someone else who has the same experience of being a reality star from the young age of 16. Recently, they seem to be joined at the hip, with Leah Messer making a guest appearance on Kailyn’s podcast, Coffee Convos. But they decided to carve out some time for their friendship — all the way out in Hawaii!

“Having fun in Hawaii with this babe!” Kailyn updated fans, adding, “#babe #kauai #vacation #girlstrip#sundayfunday #weekend.” Leah shared a similar BFF pic of her and Kailyn and captioned it, “Living our best life!”
Kailyn also shared another shot of her, Lincoln, Isaac and Lux. She wrote, “As much fun as I’m having in Hawaii with the girls, I’m missing my babies back home!” But some fans don’t seem to think that just missing her sons is enough.

“Must be great to just drop your kids off somewhere to ‘go have fun’, without worrying about them…7 months old I would not have been able to be hours away 🙄 to ‘live my life’ my kids were my life..” wrote @pattyann226. User @leslieherchler wrote, “She literally only has her kids HALF of her time, that’s why it’s so easy for her to pick up and go anywhere she wants. Full time mothers don’t have that capability.” On Leah’s post, user @edprandeski wrote, “Don’t u ever spend time with ur kids?”
It wasn’t long before Kailyn caught wind of the hate, and she slammed the comments, writing “Sit the f*ck down.” Kailyn took to Twitter to share that the hate “p*ssed [her] off.”
