According to Jessica, it all comes down to family. She took to Facebook to announce her reasoning for calming down about Jenelle; there’s no mention of compassion or forgiveness but of family.
She wrote, “Look, the damage is done. But it’s really causing conflict within our family… Sometimes u have to put things to rest and drop it.”

Jessica also called out people who might be upset about her decision. She wrote, “Now go take that into your little groups and toss it around like a ball. Be mad that i stopped the hate but im trying to please my parents and the rest of my family! #familyfirst”
It’s clear that, in traditional Jessica fashion, she’s made up her mind about something, and she’s going to stick to her guns.

Jenelle hasn’t made a public announcement or reaction about Jessica’s decision yet, but given that she’s not fighting back, she may have decided to also let sleeping dogs lie. Could this be the first time in ages that the two girls agree about something?
