In 2013, both Jenelle and Courtland were arrested on drug charges. Heroin, to be specific. It was after the arrest that she chose to have an abortion.
The strangest part of this entire story is that Jenelle’s fiancé actually knows her ex-husband. The two know each other after they were together at Nuese Correctional Institution in North Carolina. David was there for drugs and larceny.

Courtland was sentenced in November 2015 and is being released early from Tabor City Correctional Institution. One of the officers shared how this is possible. There is an advanced supervised release program,” he said. “They have to meet a certain criteria and not get certain infractions and be in classes to have a reduced sentence.”
Jenelle and Courtland were divorced in June 2014.
A video was released of Courtland injecting heroin into his arm. He was in fact instructing viewers on how he injects the drug. You can check it out next.
