Even though Jenelle isn’t exactly known for having a stable temper, it seems that she’s so used to her mother’s behavior that she just didn’t have the energy to get upset about the stunt.
She opened up on Twitter, saying that she was more concerned about how it would affect Jace than anything else. A fan, user @91joiiis, asked, “Is it true Barbara didn’t invite you to jace birthday party?! if it is,I’m pretty mad at Babs… it’s still your son.”
Jenelle replied, “Yeah, [Barbara] doesn’t care. I’m going to have his own party this weekend. No big deal, just hurts Jace’s feelings.”

Jenelle seems to think that she knows why Barbara has been particularly bitter and pushing her custody in Jenelle’s face on Instagram. In an interview with Radar Online, she said, “She’s mad I didn’t invite her to the wedding I guess so she said she was doing her own birthday with Jace.”

Celebrations are a time to heal old wounds, but it’s clear that Barbara and Jenelle have no interest in doing that right now.
