Jenelle Evans’s fans are up in arms about her most recent Instagram post. But why are they so angry?
It’s no surprise that they are jumping to conclusions about the reality TV star. Just last week reddit blew up with confused comments about whether or not she was in the hospital.
E! News erroneously posted a headline that read “Jenelle Evans Hospitalized for Lupus Flare-Up Amid Custody Battle.” First off, no one even knew Jenelle Evans had an autoimmune disease, so everyone is wondering whether it is true or not.
Lupus is a serious disease, and it turns out E! News got the whole thing wrong!
According to the Mayo Clinic, “lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems—including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs.”
Jenelle does not have lupus, and was not in the hospital. The article has since been updated, and the headline now reads “90 Day Fiancé’s Ashley Martson Hospitalized for Lupus Flare-Up.”
They posted a correction as well, saying “E! News previously incorrectly reported that Jenelle Evans has been hospitalized for a lupus flare-up instead of Ashley Martson. This story has been updated to reflect the correct information.”
But this time around, the issue is less serious. Jenelle posted a picture of an ultrasound on her Instagram page with a caption of two emojis and the hashtag “#linkinbio.”
Her comments were disabled from the post, but the link in her bio led to a page about celebrity baby announcements.
Seems pretty harmless, but fans on reddit were very confused, and commenters swooped in to quell suspicions.
