Jenelle commented on Ashleigh’s string of relationships, writing, “These days Ashleigh lives in a house near our mom. At one point, she married a marine and had a kid. That marriage didn’t last long. She went out with another guy for a while after her divorce, but that didn’t last long either. Later she ended up having a second kid with her ex-husband’s best friend. I know, right?”
Jenelle hasn’t been the best judge of character when it comes to men. Kieffer did hardcore drugs with Jenelle, she was briefly married to a man named Courtland (who was cellmates with her soon-to-be husband David), and she had a child with Nathan who is a serial abuser.
Unsatisfied

Jenelle may finally be happy with her life, but she feels like Ashleigh isn’t. “Through all of this she still seems so unsatisfied. My sister has never seemed happy to me. I feel bad for her. I don’t think I have ever seen her truly happy. I don’t know if she ever will be.”
