Jenelle told Hollywood Life that all of CPS’s evidence was hearsay, meaning their evidence was based on gossip. Marissa took the stand during the hearing and testified there was no abuse in the home.
The biggest issue Jenelle faced during the trail was the media gossip, she said. They were ordered by their lawyers to not discuss the trial while it was taking place, but that doesn’t stop tabloids and news sources from speculating from bits of information they receive.
But overall, she said the kids are over the drama of the event, although it still bothers David and her.
“We took a co-parenting class, I took a domestic violence class, he took anger management,” said Jenelle. “I was crying everyday.”
She said she has nightmares of CPS coming for her children, but she is working to be the best mother she can.
As for now, all the kids are together every other weekend. David has also been working on his anger management skills.
“He’s not mad all the time…he is a normal human being,” Jenelle explained. The social worker they took classes from did a write-up that explains David can be irritable during stressful situations like the CPS case, and that he isn’t irritable all the time.
“My lawyer said everything that they used against us, accusing us in the past, they can’t use against us now,” she said, which means the entire debacle has been put to rest.
As for the future, Jenelle plans to move forward and continue living her life and raising her kids to the best of her ability.
