Jenelle Evans Opens Up About CPS Investigation

Jenelle Evans sat down with Hollywood Life on their podcast when she was in New York for her makeup launch, and she spilled plenty of gossip for us.

In the interview, they started off by talking about her makeup launch and kit, which you can get at jecosmeticsstore.com. She then went on to discuss their homestead life.

Jenelle revealed that her kids love living in a home full of animals, which Barbara touched on in her interview.

“Kaiser, he goes outside every single morning, and he’s the first one up,” she said. “He’s like, ‘I need to go outside,’ and I’m like, ‘Where are you going?’”

“I need to go check for eggs,” Jenelle said he always tells her.

She said he is very careful with the eggs to make sure he never cracks them, because he knows if they crack you can’t eat them and if they’re fertilized the baby won’t hatch.

The host of the show, Bonnie Fuller, then brought up the dog incident. “Speaking of animals, you guys went through quite an experience with your own dog, and we know it led to you losing the kids for a while, but what did you learn from that?”

“You know, it definitely taught me and David to be stronger as a couple,” said Jenelle. “After everything we’ve been through we just looked at each other and said, ‘This is a time we got to buckle down and we got to put our emotions aside and be as strong as we can.’”

Jenelle then went on to reveal exactly what happened when CPS came and took her children.

She said a big reason for the entire issue was based on social media speculation, such as abuse allegations as well as claims that their house was filthy. Jenelle said CPS never came to their house for a home check, but rather stopped by and a left a note on their gate that they removed Kaiser from her custody.

“And then they called me and said, ‘We took your son,’” Jenelle explained. At the time she was at the grocery store, and CPS had showed up to Kaiser’s daycare to interview him. She said the school supervisor called to tell her that the authorities had taken her son.

Apparently CPS asked her son “When you get in trouble at school what happens,” and Kaiser said, “I tell them don’t call David.” CPS then later told the couple they had to forfeit custody of Ensley and Marissa.
