Apparently, David was hit hard. He shared, “A lot of stuff was taken, including many of my personal belongings to be missing as well. It’s really low for anyone to steal someone’s tools when that’s what they use to make a living and that’s their livelihood altogether.” He went on:
“Not only was the entire house destroyed, but the kids’ rooms look like they were flipped upside down. It took several days to clean it all up when I had already been cleaning for a month trying to catch up on things that had been ignored for a while. The house was spotless when I left and came back to this.”
In addition to the loss of possessions, David had also lost some peace of mind.
“This has all been very stressful,” he said. “And it’s taking some time getting over the fact that people broke in and destroyed my house.” He added, “Now I live in fear everyday that it will happen again and that Maryssa, my daughter, will have to see it.”

Other cast members from the Teen Mom franchise have dealt with similar incidents. It seems to be a difficult consequence of life in the spotlight.
Fortunately for David, his current problem is only temporary: he has assured Celebernation that the warrant is a non-issue.
Now, David is speaking out about his arrest warrant in North Carolina, claiming in his statement that it is “no biggie” and will “all be handled.”
