This is such a touchy topic . I think each person deals with this based on their own upbringing and personal beliefs . If this is how the parents want to support their child then we really cannot and should not say anything . https://t.co/8MVlaCE4pz

This time around, it’s another new member of the Teen Mom cast that’s coming under fire: Young and Pregnant star Ashley Jones.
The tweets started when Ashley retweeted an Instagram post about Dwayne Wade accepting his trans daughter’s decision to change her name and use female pronouns. “Me and my wife Gabrielle Union are proud parents of a child in the LGBTQ+ community,” the update read.
Another Twitter user added the transphobic comment, “Stop ‘supporting’ the problem and get that boy some help.’”
Ashley had some thoughts on this. She spoke out in defense of Dwayne Wade’s daughter, saying, “This is such a touchy topic . I think each person deals with this based on their own upbringing and personal beliefs . If this is how the parents want to support their child then we really cannot and should not say anything.”
Can’t offend the LGBTQ, can’t offend the blacks , can’t offend the whites , can’t offend the Mexicans , can’t offended the Asians . Just leave people the fuck alone . And also , everything isn’t always that damn deep and serious .

But her next Tweet was a bit confusing to some fans. “Can’t offend the LGBTQ, can’t offend the blacks , can’t offend the whites , can’t offend the Mexicans , can’t offended the Asians . Just leave people the f*ck alone . And also , everything isn’t always that d*mn deep and serious,” she wrote.
But some fans think Ashley’s tweet was ignorant.
“The Mexicans ? There’s a whole a** South America and Puerto Rican’s / Cubans / Dominicans that are Hispanics so please educate yourself,” wrote in user @loramendoza9 on Twitter.
Ashley replied, “so you offended because I said Mexicans ? What are you even talking about,” and added numerous laughing emojis.
Twitter user @sidcynthia wrote, “Because the word you were looking for was ‘hispanics.’”
Ashley replied and added, “No, I meant Mexicans!”
She went on, “Since when was it a crime to say Mexicans ? If you are from Puerto Rico then ofc I’m not talking about you . If you are Salvadoran than exclude yourself . But there are PROUD MEXICANS walking this earth . So relax . I wasn’t grouping everyone together I was speaking particularly.”
Obviously, Ashley’s comments may come off as a little ignorant to some, but they don’t seem to be near the category of “racist.” And considering this all comes from her apparently standing up against transphobia, its seems that it comes from a good place.
