It could be dangerous!
Substance abuse affects a massive amount of people worldwide, and breaking free from an addiction can be an incredibly long journey. We’ve seen many Teen Mom stars whose lives have been affected by addiction, whether it’s themselves or their baby daddies or their families. Sometimes it can be difficult for fans to watch the stars struggle with the disease, but often the symptoms go unnoticed.
Could Catelynn Lowell be walking in dangerous territories completely unbeknownst to fans? It appears those close to her are concerned about her potentially mixing alcohol with pills.

Recently, Catelynn Lowell decided to stop relying on marijuana use to get through the day. She proudly revealed that she is no longer using marijuana at all and focusing on therapy and medication to help with her anxiety and depression. However, fans took issue with the fact that Catelynn has been calling herself “sober.”
Many have recently pointed out that, although Catelynn may not be smoking weed, she is still very publicly drinking alcohol. Now it seems the situation may be even worse, as Catelynn may be mixing alcohol with her medication.

“Catelynn and Tyler drink, but not nearly as much as anybody else their age,” an insider told Radar Online. “They’ll have a beer or glass of wine, but they definitely don’t have an issue with alcohol.”
They added that Catelynn “Never had an issue with alcohol,” and is completely sober from marijuana. But they do still have a concern about her alcohol use.
Mixing Substances

“I just hope that Catelynn isn’t drinking on her medication, depending on what she’s taking,” the insider spilled. “Some medications it’s safe to have a drink or two, but most warn you not to mix them.”
They added, “I’d like to believe she’s smarter than that and if she knows she’ll be drinking then she won’t take her medication that day.” However, many SSRI’s create a buildup of serum in the blood over a long period of time, meaning that those who take them regularly shouldn’t drink whether or not they’ve taken their daily dose.
“Ty isn’t on any anti-depressants, and he’s trying to do all of this holistically, so it’s safe for him to drink,” the insider continued. “But they’ve always been more marijuana smokers than drinkers. I know marijuana has helped them both in the past with anxiety.”
Many fans were incredibly disappointed to see that Catelynn was drinking after proclaiming her sobriety.
