Fans immediately wondered why the couple landed on such an unusual first name, but we only recently got an answer—and honestly, it’s not all too exciting.
While Chelsea let her fans on Twitter know that Watson turned out to be a family name (her great-grandfather’s middle name was Watson), the parents didn’t know until after they’d decided on it.
Well… that’s that.

In reply to a fan on Twitter asking why they’d picked the name, Chelsea had a simple response. “Because we liked it…..?” she tweeted to the fan. Well, that’s that. Not a lot of mystery there.
Apparently, much like their co-stars Jenelle and David, Chelsea and Cole just went with a name that they liked a lot—no deeper meaning there. The more you know, I guess!

Now we just have to wait for Kail to announce her baby’s name—which likely won’t happen until the birth, since she’s waiting until then to find out the sex of the child. What are we going to do without more baby naming news in the meantime? Something tells me that we’ll manage!
