As for David, he took a much different response. After the controversy began, he decided to accentuate the picture, making it the profile picture on his Twitter account. He has responded to criticism from fans by calling other Twitter users a “b*tch” and a “dumba*s.” Fans were disheartened and angry with this decision.
“You know that they know that there was a shooting today because David turned off the comments but decided to keep the picture up [on Instagram],” pointed out Reddit user brittany1669a. “So any excuse that they didn’t know about it is a lie.” User candleandmeatloaf pointed out, “This is … [also] disturbing because guns in the home greatly increases the likelihood of one of the inhabitants in the home being killed.”
This is far from the first time Jenelle and David’s practices on The Land have upset fans. Fans were recently infuriated after Jenelle shared a video of her toddler Kaiser riding an ATV without a helmet.
