People have been sharing false screenshots of conversations with her online as well. “It’s happened once or twice to me before, but I have to make sure that like I show you by circling the image and showing that it’s photoshopped,” she said. “If I don’t catch it and if they make it seem legit people will believe it 100%.”
The falsehoods about Jenelle that have been shared are affecting not only her but others as well.
“It’s really sad because, you know, the company that I promoted for, I did it for free. I did it because they were like, ‘Hey if you ever wear our clothes can you tag us?’ I was like, ‘yeah sure.’” Jenelle told us. “So I tagged them, and these people have been…are still right now, they’re harassing her. [They’re] still DMing her and saying, ‘You shouldn’t even have Jenelle shop at your store.’ Well, this is a store that’s in my mall locally, so you’re going to tell her to make me stop shopping at the mall? That’s insane!”
Overall, Jenelle is working to move forward and figure out her next step. She said she’s working on her YouTube channel and Instagram and has a few projects planned for the summer.
Although she couldn’t disclose exact information, Jenelle said she will be returning to TV, as well as YouTube, podcasts, and other media outlets.
We can’t wait to see what comes from her next!
