Nhlanhla is also 16 and got pregnant by an older man. She learned during her pregnancy test at a local clinic that she’s HIV Positive. When she told the man who got her pregnant about her status, he didn’t believe her. He left her, which she thinks is for the best anyway. She’s got the support of her grandparents and older brother to help her along.
Big Dreams Dashed

Fanele was born to a teenaged mother who gave up the child to her own mother. Eighteen people live in her grandmother’s tiny house, but her grandma told her to focus on her studies so that she can rise out of poverty. Fanele dreams of being a star but is fearful that her dream will never come true now.
