So, why rehash all this speculative baby chatter?

Well, Kailyn’s pregnancy isn’t entirely unrelated to her break-up with Javi. It’s been common knowledge for a while now that Kail’s reluctance to have more kids played a crucial part in her divorce. While Kailyn said that she didn’t want to “bring another child into a failing marriage,” the combination of this mystery baby and watching her divorce play out on screen may be causing some old feelings to resurface.

Earlier this month, Lowry tweeted something that raised a few eyebrows (but not nearly as many as you would expect). The star took an opportunity to talk about lost love on social media, maybe letting fans know that she’s been missing a man in her life.

“The hardest thing you can ever do is let go of someone you’re still in love with,” the star wrote. We’re not certain who it’s about, but… let’s be real —my money is on Javi.

My theory?

Sure, it could be the mystery father, whom Kailyn’s reps have already disclosed is no longer involved with Lowry. Though somehow I think it’s more likely that everything going on in Kailyn’s life right now has hit a chord, causing her to reminisce about her ex-husband.

Kailyn’s rocky divorce hasn’t been easy for fans to watch on the current season of Teen Mom 2, and I’m sure that it’s been even harder for the reality star to see. Break ups are hard enough — imagine what it must be like for the couple to see theirs play out, in devastating detail, from week to week. It sounds like a nightmare.
