Unexpected pregnancies have a way of shaking up the Teen Mom fanbase, and it’s not hard to see why. Even though many of the cast members are in stable relationships and are planning for more children, some of them have still shocked fans with their unplanned pregnancies.
Sometimes, these pregnancies still have a way of working out for the best. Even though Amber Portwood didn’t plan her second pregnancy with Andrew Glennon, she and her new man seem to be happier and healthier than ever with each other and their new son James. But not everyone’s shocker pregnancies had such a happy ending.
Now, to everyone’s surprise, it’s not a Teen Mom who has just announced another pregnancy… it’s a Teen Dad! After dating Briana DeJesus only six months ago, Javi has just announced that he and his new girlfriend, Lauren Comeau, are expecting their first child together.
It’s not hard to see why this made such a splash in the Teen Mom community. Javi has jumped from girl to girl many times in the past few months, dating Lauren, Briana DeJesus, and then Lauren again… and he’s left nothing but drama and destruction in his path.
At first glance, his pregnancy announcement was super shocking, but could it be even more scandalous than it seemed on the surface?
Considering how pregnant Javi’s girlfriend already is, fans have started to wonder just when he got her pregnant. Is it possible that Javi got Lauren pregnant while he was still dating Briana?

The timeline of Javi’s relationship with his new baby mama, Lauren Comeau, is a little hard to follow. That’s because they’ve been on-and-off practically since they first started dating.
The two began dating long-distance after meeting at a wedding. Javi was in Delaware while his bae lived in Charleston, South Carolina. “We met at one of our best friend’s weddings,” Javi told Radar Online. “She was the maid of honor.” He revealed that their relationship was “fairly new” but that he “[didn’t] feel that way.” (We all know that Javi is an expert of moving super fast in relationships.) “This one feels right. We decided we’d give it a try officially at the wedding this past weekend.” Lauren was also the fourth girl he dated in the year after he split from Kailyn.
Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last very long. The stress of having a public relationship was too much for Lauren, and the couple split in September of 2017.
“I love Lauren, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” Javi informed Radar. “I’m learning not everyone wants the attention. Dating someone on a TV show is tough. I think Lauren had a hard time adjusting to that and I had a hard time understanding that.”
“It was a lot for her and we couldn’t fix it,” he explained. “I learned for my next relationship that I have to put myself in the other person’s shoes.”
But he made it clear that he wasn’t totally over Lauren. “I never believed in love at first sight, but when I saw Lauren I definitely did,” he said. “I’m hoping Lauren and I can figure this out because she made me the happiest I’ve ever been.”

Well, they managed to figure it out. It was only a few months after breaking up with Briana DeJesus that Javi got back together with Lauren. He shared a picture of them embracing and wrote, “Sometimes, two people need to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together.” Now, the couple has some massive news to share.
Even though they only got together two months ago, they clearly didn’t waste any time. Javi has just confirmed to Radar that his girlfriend Lauren is pregnant (yes, with his child).
“Blessings on top of blessings,” Javi wrote on a picture of him cradling Lauren’s baby bump on his private Facebook page. Lauren wrote, “Sometimes life’s biggest blessings come in the smallest packages. Baby Marroquin coming soon!”
He took to Instagram to write:
“Been kinda quiet lately for many reasons. I was sad I couldn’t share the good news because I was afraid of what people would say. The amount of love I’ve received is so overwhelming and so appreciated. I realized No negative comment will take this moment away from us. A baby is a blessing and I am ecstatic for the future. Lincoln is happy, I’m happy, and Lauren is happy. Gonna go on a little hiatus from social media to take all this in and enjoy it with my family and loved ones. For those sending love, thank you! We appreciate it. And to you @lauren3elizabeth thank you for blessing me with another child. We are gonna be amazing parents together.”
4-year-old Lincoln was also in the announcement. He held four sonograms and wore a shirt that read “Super Big Bro.”

Fans are divided about this news (well, let’s be real: most fans are pretty shocked), but what’s more alarming is the timeline of everything.
July – September 2017: Javi meet and begin dating Lauren Comeau, and then they break up.
October 2017 – January 2018: Javi begins dating Briana, and they also crash and burn.
January 2018: Javi and Kailyn don’t get back together, but they get awfully close.
March 2018: Javi begins dating Lauren Comeau.
May 30, 2018: Javi and Lauren announce they are pregnant.
With a timeline this tight, things start to look a bit sketchy. But what’s even sketchier is the fact that Lauren appears to be more than just a few weeks along in their pregnancy announcement picture. In fact, many fans believe that Javi could have gotten Lauren pregnant while he was with Briana.
“Neither Javi nor Lauren announced [the] due date or how far along she is for one reason and one reason only….” wrote reddit user boobopbadaboop. “The baby was conceived at a time that neither of them can explain without looking like complete idiots. That is all.” Many fans agreed, and several weren’t convinced Lauren was less than three months pregnant.
