Chris is speaking up
Kailyn Lowry has recently finished one of the most talked about pregnancies in Teen Mom history. She finally brought her little bundle of joy into the world, after what felt like an eternity of pregnancy pictures, but there are still some loose ends that need to be tied up. Particularly: Who’s the daddy?
Kail herself has confirmed that the father is the elusive Chris Lopez, with whom she had a brief relationship soon after splitting up with Javi Marroquin. Fans accepted Chris as her baby daddy, but now he’s giving his own two cents, casting doubt on how truthful Kailyn has been.

Even though we’re more than excited about Kailyn’s baby boy, unfortunately, it seems that the way he was conceived is still up in the air. It’s best for any newborn to have two loving parents waiting for his arrival, but Chris has made it very clear throughout the pregnancy that he wanted nothing to do with the baby once he came.
From the very beginning, sources suggested that the relationship between the two was less than ideal. A source told Radar, “Kail became a relationship of convenience for him. He never actually loved her. It was a relationship, but he just decided he wanted something different and things didn’t work out so they went their separate ways.”

Even though Chris all but dropped off the face of the earth after Kailyn revealed her pregnancy, it became clear that Kailyn was still holding out hope that he would change his mind about his involvement with Baby Lo.
She had her best friend lined up to be in the delivery room with her, but sources said that she was hoping that Chris would decide to come at the last minute. “She wants to give him the opportunity to see his child being born,” the source said. “She never said Chris couldn’t be involved with his child. She would hope he would want that, but she won’t force it or chase him to do so.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that happened; Chris is implying that he’s not even the father.

Mere days before Baby Lo was born, Chris Lopez took to Twitter to give his two cents about the entire situation. He seems to think that a little bit of TV sensationalism played a role in the process. He wrote, “Just seen that dumb a** show,” with a laughing emoji and a facepalm emoji. Then he added, “That sh*t is all for tv,” with another laughing emoji.
He finished with, “Ppl shouldn’t talk about things they don’t know about lol.” He’s signing a different tune than he did back in January, when he tweeted, “To my miracle child I’m sorry.”
