She wants to keep him happy!
We all know that some Teen Mom stars would prefer if their baby daddies were out of their lives forever. But at the end of the day, no matter how many bad decisions the men make, they’re still the fathers of the stars’ children! Even so, Chelsea Houska is clearly running out of forgiveness to give her first baby daddy.
Now she’s making a major change in her daughter Aubree’s life, and Adam’s expected to be pretty mad about it.

In the last season of Teen Mom 2, we saw Adam Lind go down a similar path to Maci Bookout’s baby daddy, Ryan Edwards. Both men are currently battling addiction, and this means a massive reduction in the time they’ve spent with their children.
However, Chelsea Houska is trying hard to give Aubree a stable family life at home. After marrying her second baby daddy Cole DeBoer, it became clear that Chelsea wanted a way to make Aubree feel like part of the family. She decided to embark on the process of changing Aubree’s last name to Lind-DeBoer.
As cameras have filmed, Chelsea made an effort to ensure that Aubree was on the same page as her in the process. Now it’s clear that Aubree has one reservation: the way her father might react.

“Aubree and Cole are closer than ever, and we still want to hyphenate her last name,” Chelsea explains in this sneak peek for the Teen Mom 2 season premiere. “So today I’m going to my lawyer to sign some paperwork.”
In the clip, she picks up Aubree in her car. “Do you remember the other day when I had to go sign those papers and they were closed? We’re just going to run there quick. Do you remember what they’re for?”
“To change my last name!” Aubree says. Then she adds, “I still want to keep Lind, but I wanna add DeBoer.”
