Since the days of 16 and Pregnant, Catelynn Lowell has stood out from the other moms. She was the only “teen mom” to choose adoption and she is now the only cast member who is still together with her high school sweetheart.
That does not mean, however, that the couple has been free from public criticism. Viewers have offered their opinions through every difficult decision that the two have faced.

Recently, when Catelynn posted a shocking video of her daughter, fans went wild wondering if she finally crossed a line!
Together, she and Tyler Baltierra have gone through serious emotional struggles since they were in high school picking adoptive parents for baby Carly. As teenagers, they processed the aftermath of their choice on camera for MTV.
Once the couple felt mature enough for their own child, Catelynn gave birth to another beautiful baby girl, Novalee Reign. Catelynn suffered from severe postpartum depression and entered an in-patient treatment facility in Arizona in 2016. She re-entered treatment in November after tweeting, “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.”
As episodes from Teen Mom OG aired, it became clear why Catelynn sought counseling again. Viewers watched with joy as she gave Tyler the good news that she was pregnant again.
