Catelynn’s name change isn’t the only sign of trouble in paradise. User ellalovegood pointed out, “I also noticed that Cate hasn’t liked his Instagram posts since April 20th 🧐”
In fact, Catelynn and Tyler have apparently stopped following one another on Instagram! “Tyler isn’t following her anymore either,” wrote user meeeeganlm. And on top of this, the two have just gone on trips… without one another!
User lyss383 was the first to spot the fact that Catelynn and Tyler were separated on Mother’s Day. “Cates been snap chatting a lot of Nova and her vacation and Tyler’s no where to be found. I don’t follow him on anything but I saw something about him maybe being in Texas? Anyone know what is going on with them? I think it’s interesting they are apart, especially on mother’s day after all of the time she’s spent away from him already.” User TylersMAHM wrote, “maybe they’re splitting. While I understand the apprehension re:Cate because of her past, etc. She does seem like the partner who is more stable on social media lately, and like the partner who has more reasonable boundaries with her cray cray addicted family? Maybe that’s why she is with Nova alone while Tyler tries to fix his family that will never be fixed? Maybe Cate is tired of being with a man who has prioritized his family who taken advantage of them and used them for years, realized he was bringing her down in treatment, is focusing on getting stable with her family and daughter, and he’s…. writing poetry?”

They were referring, of course, to the dark and depressing poetry that Tyler has been sampling across his social media recently. One reads:
”Yeah I hear all you b*tches, I hear all you hatin & tryin to belittle, but I am not brittle & you got me glitchin if you think I’m switchin, so stop all your flexin & stop all your b*tchin, your keyboard words can’t put me in stitches #KeepHatin #ItsFuelWhenImWritin ”
Another goes:
“It’s like my brain is so scattered that the moment I feel like I get what I’m after while climbing this ladder this person in the mirror just smiles through laughter, then smacks me in the face which starts the chase to this inevitable race to feeling broken, beate,n devalued, out of place & now I’m all off pace. It just leaves me shattered and every time I think about my life, my brain becomes battered with only one question…does my life really even matter!?”
After receiving concerns about his mental health from fans, Tyler eventually reached out to clear the air. He tweeted, “Listen guys, I write when I feel the emotional pain that comes from an emotional rage. I write to put some of these dark thoughts somewhere else besides my brain. This is not something to get all concerned about. This is healthy for me & an outlet to let these emotions out.”
Despite countless indications that there’s trouble brewing between Catelynn and Tyler, some fans think that all of this might just be for attention!

“Sooo faaaaaaaake. Guarantee it’s just a “look at me.” Cate loves the “gotcha” bs games,” wrote user Cantadulttoday. User BarefootGA wrote, “As much as I would like to see them break up, this is probably just attention seeking 101.” User meckyborris wrote, “Surely they know that by doing these things it attracts attention and everyone’s gonna speculate, start rumours, ask 1000 questions, etc. So, if it were me and my personal life, I wouldn’t be changing my social media accounts unless a decision like divorce was already in the works and I was ready for the public to know about it and ready to start answering some questions.”
Meanwhile, Catelynn and Tyler are seeing how hard a divorce can be firsthand. Tyler’s sister Amber Baltierra and her husband Billy Wade have just revealed their own splitting plans after Amber’s infidelity came out.
UPDATE: Catelynn has just restored her last name to “Baltierra” on her Instagram account. She also shared an update, writing, “[Tyler] and I are not getting a divorce. Couples go through ups and downs that’s normal life. We are a solid couple that will work through anything life throws at us!”
