It’s safe to say that Briana and Javi’s relationship was one of the most explosive in the entire franchise — but everything must come to an end. Only a few months after they got together, the couple was explaining why they split.
For Briana, it came down to having conflicting views of the future.
“Javi and I are not together anymore,” she revealed to Blasting News. “Our future just doesn’t line up. He doesn’t want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo, and tummy tuck (which I’m doing in two weeks) because it’ll look bad on his name at work.”
Javi has always spoken about wanting a big family and commitment, and apparently that didn’t sit right with Briana. “I don’t plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me,” she revealed.

Javi’s story is predictably different. “Some questions about our futures couldn’t be answered because we both do have kids and live two different lifestyles, her being in Florida and me in Delaware,” he told Radar Online. “I didn’t agree with some of her future plans being exposed for the world to see for our future and any future employers and I wish we could’ve compromised.”
He admitted that he was “overthinking,” but said that he “couldn’t figure out a way to answer some of those questions.”
Even though Briana claims that the surgery is why they split, Javi insists that “[t]he surgery itself wasn’t the issue.”
Javi and Briana are both pretty hot-tempered, but they seem to be having a very amicable breakup. “Unfortunately it didn’t work out for us,” Javi said. He added:
“Bri is an amazing person with the biggest heart I’ve ever got to hold. Everything she goes through and she’s still selfless and does her best to please others. She’s got a bright future and she’ll make any guy feel special.”
