It's no wonder they've been fighting!
If you’ve been following Jenelle Evans’s recent struggles, you know that things between her and her mother, Barbara, are even more strained than they have been in the past. The two continue to take shots at one another on social media, in addition to using their custody battle over Jace to get one-ups on each other. Now, things are getting worse than just throwing public shade.
In a recent sneak peek of Teen Mom, Jenelle opened up about how Barbara’s actions may be venturing into illegal territories. Between concern for her children’s safety and her frustration with Barbara, it’s clear that things between them might be hitting an all time low.

Caught Red-Handed

In a clip that MTV released of an upcoming Teen Mom episode, Jenelle vents about a recent incident with her mother, Barbara, that may sound familiar to long-time fans. Jenelle has been frustrated with Barbara drinking around Jace and even concerned that she’s gotten behind the wheel after having drinks.
Jenelle opened up to one of the producers on the show, Kristen. She said, “You know how I’ve been trying to see Jace. Well, last weekend, I said, ‘Can I have Jace?’ And [Barbara said], ‘You should have called me earlier during the day. I have plans with my friends, and it’s Cinco de Mayo.’”
She continues, saying, “So we get in the car, and we’re going to the Mexican restaraunt. And when David was inside, he saw her drinking wine, and David took pictures from far away; my mom didn’t see him.”
Calling the Cops

“He came back outside, told me, showed me the pictures in the parking lot, and I said, ‘I’m going in there, because I don’t know if she’s going to drink and drive,’” Jenelle continued. “So then I went in there, and I was like, ‘Hey! You were drinking, and now you’re about to drive!’ And [Barbara said] ‘I had one sip of my wine, they just put it on the table.’”
Jenelle countered her mother, saying, “‘That’s drinking! Like, what are you talking about?’ So, then after that, I went back to her house. I walked up to the door and knocked on it, no one answered, I knocked again no one answered.”
David looked into the window of Barbara’s garage and saw that her car was parked inside. David said, “Yeah, your mom is here.” That’s when Jenelle decided to call the cops to see what was going on.
“Then I ended up calling the police when I was there. The police came, and they were like, ‘What’s your concern?’” Jenelle told them, “‘I don’t know if my mom is in there, like, passed out while the kids are in there… so it’s concerning.”
