It’s official: Amber Portwood is now a mother of two!
After Amber kicked her ex Matt Baier to the curb, it wasn’t long before she was caught cozying up with a new man. Only a few months later, Amber announced to the world that she and her new boyfriend Andrew Glennon were about to be parents! After a safe and healthy pregnancy, the lovebirds have now welcomed their first son together into the world — and he’s just too cute!

Early Labor

Amber has been nothing but excitement throughout her pregnancy, but her thrill peaked when she announced she was up all night in the early stages of labor. “Another nocturnal night with my uncomfortable pregy belly,” she wrote on May 7 on Twitter. "But it’s all worth it! I’m 3cm dilated and home waiting for labor. Wonder if I’ll make it to my due date? Wish me luck loves! Goodnight."
As bae and baby daddy Andrew Glennon had previously announced on Instagram, Amber’s due date wasn’t for a few more days. "Due date: MAY 13th, Mother’s Day! One day before Amber’s actual birthday. She was born on Mother’s day 1990. The stars really aligned on this one,” he wrote. But apparently their little son just couldn’t wait to meet his new family."

Amber’s son, James Andrew Glennon was born at 1:39 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces, according to a report by Us Magazine, who shared the exclusive photo. Amber shared on Instagram, "So excited to announce the birth of our son!"
It’s clear that James will be welcomed into a family that loves and cares about him, and he’ll also be carrying a legacy in his name. "It's Andrew's father's name who passed. Andrew was very close to his father. That's the main reason he got into cinematography — his father and his grandfather," Amber explained to In Touch Weekly. "He really wanted to honor his father and I thought that was a beautiful thing. I even was thinking of putting my dad's middle name in there, but my brother is named after my dad so we just went with James Andrew Glennon. It means a lot and I love the name."

Amber may have to re-learn the new mom skillset — things like breastfeeding and changing diapers — but luckily she has a lot of support in her corner. On top of support from family and fans, she’s revealed that her co-star Maci Bookout will be there with tips on raising a boy. "I'm gonna have to call Maci [Bookout] to know what to do. God, I love Maci. That's my girl,” Amber told In Touch.
“She helped me out during pregnancy with this lemon water thing, so that helped my tummy out a little bit. She's such a sweetheart. I'm nervous about taking care of a boy and raising a boy, but I think it's gonna be so fun. I love how I'll have a little boy and a little girl now. That's just perfect to me, honestly."
Now that Amber and Andrew are mom and dad, fans are left wondering if they’ll soon become man and wife!

“[Andrew has] been asked that many times,” Amber spilled to Ok! Magazine. “I don’t think what he’s thinking and he wouldn’t tell me anyways because I’m sure he would want it to be a surprise,” she explains.
It’s clear that their growing family is enough to focus on for now. “We haven’t really been talking about [it]. We are just living together, loving each other and waiting for this beautiful baby to come!” Amber said. “It’s up in the air, I don’t know!”
