According to the documents, Amber wants Andrew held in contempt of court for violating their custody arrangement, and she also wants more time with James. On top of that, she wants to be reimbursed by Andrew for all of her legal expenses!
Fans were quick to sound off about this update on reddit.
“Andrew should just follow the court orders and let amber screw up by being a lazy human being. She’ll f*ck up eventually,” wrote Ajs1004.
User Zoinks3324 wrote, “Andrew is disrespecting the courts and playing a dangerous game. I’ve seen these cases get flipped where the other parent gets custody after multiple violations like this as it’s essentially parental alienation. Courts don’t play. Andrew needs to quit being petty and correct things through the court process if he thinks she should have less time. Poor baby James caught in the middle of both of their sh*ts.”
And Andrew has been seeming pretty unhinged lately as well…
‘Teen Mom’ Star Threatens Crimes Against MTV Executives
Even though it would be nice to believe that Teen Mom is a totally realistic depiction of what the cast members get up to on a regular basis, the truth is that there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. It’s no secret that producers can heavily influence the way that certain conversations go on air and that editors can make some scenes look entirely different from how they really are.
So it’s no wonder that the cast members have had issues with some of the executives’ decisions over the years. But now, one cast member is taking things to the extreme, and threatening to harm them.
When Amber Portwood was arrested for the first time back in 2010, MTV realized that the show just couldn’t go on. Teen Mom was pulled off the air, but that wasn’t the end of things.
The show soon returned with a new name: Teen Mom OG. But there was another change: MTV broke the fourth wall and filmed the producers, camera crew, and showed the way that MTV executives really altered the way certain scenes and life experiences went down for the cast members.
Since that shift, many of the girls haven’t been shy to speak out about the sometimes shady things the MTV executives do behind the scenes to make for good drama. In fact, Chelsea Houska called out the execs just this season for making one of her scenes look totally different.
