This is really off the deep end.
There are some signs that show that someone has gone off the deep end without a doubt. When someone’s addiction is so severe that it’s affecting their personal life, it’s a pretty good indication that there’s a serious problem. So when Ryan Edwards showed up high to his own wedding, it must have been a pretty clear sign that he needed help.

Although there are a few cases of substance abuse throughout the Teen Mom cast, one of the worst examples is Ryan Edwards.
Even back when he was with Maci, there were problems involving drug use. Ryan is still facing difficulty getting clean, and the problem seems to be getting worse and worse. He has recently checked into rehab, but new information about his wedding is suggesting that the problem may be even worse than we realized.

A wedding should be a day that every bride and groom remember forever. However, when you’re high on Xanax, it’s probably pretty tricky to form memories.
Apparently, that was the case for Ryan Edwards.
According to Hall of Fame Magazine, Mackenzie Standifer herself accused Ryan of being high on Xanax while they were driving to their wedding.

It isn’t difficult to imagine that Mackenzie must have been furious at suspencting her fiancé was on drugs right before their wedding. She allegedly tried to straighten out the wheel while they were driving when it became clear he was intoxicated. She asked, “Why are you swerving?” To which he replied, “My eyes, babe, in the sunlight I can’t keep ’em open.”
When Mackenzie asked if he’d taken Xanax again, Ryan swore up and down he hadn’t, saying, “I put that on my kid’s life.”
