A number of the members of the Teen Mom cast have capitalized off of their fame by launching side businesses that bank heavily on their name recognition. From Farrah’s multiple brick-and-mortar businesses to Cole DeBoer’s newly-launched sock line, the girls and their hubbys are no stranger to business ventures. That said, some of them have had more luck than others.
Amber Portwood launched an online boutique, Forever Haute, with her then-fiancé Matt Baier. Since the launch earlier this year, she’s dealt with a significant number of controversies related to the business, but has managed to keep it afloat through the hard times.
Now, it looks like all of her hard work may have been for naught. Has Forever Haute gone out of business?

Amber Portwood has expressed her passion for style and fashion for years now so it makes sense that she decided to make it into a business venture. She launched online boutique Forever Haute at the start of 2017 and dedicated herself to making it work no matter what.
At first, things were great. The online reactions from fans were positive, and Amber was praised for her hard work and dedication to her business. Of course her haters used every little oversight against her, but as Amber added plus sized fashion to the website and even explored an auxiliary makeup line, she showed that her business savvy was enough to get her through. Not long into her venture, though, things started to take a turn for the worse.
Soon, fans began to notice that some of Amber’s products were available at other sites. Fans jumped to a number of different conclusions. Many believed that Amber was just buying clothes for a reduced rate and then upcharging them to sell at her boutique.
Amber took to Twitter to share her side of the story. She wrote, “Hi loves! So I’m getting a lot of questions about my clothes. I need people to understand this is a boutique and I have all rights to the models I use because I go straight to the brand. People will take these pics illegally and send you a completely different product which has happened to me many times!! Lol so understand these are 4-5 star clothes straight from the retailer. You have to have a business license IRS Id among other things. So please don’t buy something for cheaper and get something completely different. Sending love everyone,” and finished off with a heart emoji.

Since then, Amber has had some serious life changes. After a lie detector test and an explosive fight, things finally ended between her and Matt. Even though she’s with someone new now, it looks like it may have affected her business ventures: it looks like this might be the end of Forever Haute.
Reddit user Juhnelle wrote, “So ambers website is coming up with an error, and the company Twitter hasn’t had any activity since July. Is this the end of forever (haute)? …Or did she just forget to pay her bill for the server?”
Amber hasn’t spoken out about her site being down, but fans have a lot of different theories. “None of the girls have made good business decisions so this doesn’t surprise me in the least,” wrote user SublimationStation. “Amber just rebranded mass produced crap from Asia. She got called out on it and the prices were outrageous. The few accounts of customer service I’ve heard about have not been positive in the least and she’s just utterly clueless about running a successful business.”
Meanwhile, Amber seems to be enjoying herself and not letting the rumors get to her.
